The Conference Scholarship Fund helps individuals living with OCD or related disorders who would not be able to afford to attend due to financial hardship join us at the Annual OCD Conference. An individual who is dedicated to learning more and finding the help they need should be given the chance to attend the Conference if they would like to do so.
Each year since 1993, individuals living with OCD, their family members and supporters, treatment providers and researchers come together at the Annual OCD Conference, the only national meeting focused solely on OCD and related disorders. This unique event allows anyone and everyone affected by OCD or a related disorder to come together to learn about the latest in OCD treatment alongside leading experts in the field. The IOCDF is proud to be able to offer some of the lowest registration rates among similar conferences. However, between registration, travel, and accommodations, it can become quite expensive to attend this great event. That is why we created the Conference Scholarship Fund, so no individual is turned away from this once in lifetime experience due to the cost. Learn more about the types of scholarships we offer.
Maybe you’ve attended the Conference yourself and experienced how powerful the entire weekend can be for someone affected by OCD or a related disorder. Or maybe you have a family member or friend who was able to attend and benefit from the many different presentations, support groups, and evening activities. If you find yourself in a position to make a donation today, you will be helping individuals living with OCD or related disorder obtain valuable help and information by attending the Conference.
I'm an OCD sufferer and a student at Moscow State University of Psychology and Education. I learned about the Annual OCD Conference several years ago and wished I could go there someday, but I thought it was impossible due to long distance travel and cost. Besides, my OCD was quite bad at that time, and I couldn't imagine myself traveling on my own. Nevertheless, four years later I made it to the Conference. No words can describe how amazing this experience was. I felt pretty exhausted and stressed out the day I arrived, and four days later I left feeling healed. After suffering alone for about fourteen years, I finally got to participate in support groups, to connect with other OCD sufferers, and to talk to the most elite experts in the field. I was living my dream, and every day there felt like a miracle. The Conference inspired me to fight harder and to give back, I've been feeling much better since I returned. Thank you for your ongoing support. - Yulia
